Map your climate career

Climate careers are growing across sectors, but finding your way into them can be difficult. Job titles are changing, new roles are emerging, and there is rarely a single, straightforward path into climate work.

MAP Your Climate Career is an interactive experience designed to help young people explore the many ways they can build a career in the climate space. Participants will explore different career pathways, discover emerging roles and skills, and hear from people working across different areas of climate action.

We start the session with a demo of an interactive tool that helps students and early career participants explore pathways that can lead to careers in climate action and sustainability. We then hear from a variety of climate professionals and field experts on how they discovered and navigated a career in climate and have a fun and interactive Q&A session. Participants will be encouraged to think about where their own interests, skills, and experiences could take them, whether into research, business, entrepreneurship, social impact, policy, or other emerging areas of climate work.
