Designing with Nature: Wetland Walk & Community hour

This session begins with an interactive nature walk that takes participants into the wetlands so that they are able to connect with these ecosystems and understand the extent of degradation cause due to urbanization. The walk introduces the audience to native flora and fauna as well as biodiversity so that community members can reconnect with environments that sustain us. The walk will end by addressing solutions that can help regenerate these environments and future proof our cities by incorporating nature based solutions when urban planning.

Post the walk, participants will be invited to Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts where they will spend the hour looking through “Designing with Nature” Biopod+Co.’s interactive exhibit and connecting with members in the community to forge relationships that help propel innovative ideas. The Community Hour is designed to act as a space for people of different backgrounds to share ideas, build relationships and take action to promote designing for the future.
